Island Lošinj

This island of Kvarner’s islands create almost one unit with island Cres. They are from each other 11 km, and they are connected with rotary bridge. Although they are topology different their similarly is identified by same history and nearness. Lošinj is long 31 km with more broken coast, especially on the south. Both islands have a lot of tourist and biking paths.

Lošinj was peopled from the Stone Ages and Bronze Ages. Maly a Velky Lošinj are Italian favorite resorts, they have straightly connection from Venice. Get to the Lošinj is possible only by the ship. The main harbor for both islands (also Cres) is Mali Lošinj, which has ferry connection with Pula, Zadar and Venice.
